I have known Jimmy and Lara since one of their first dates, back in the summer of 2013. If memory serves me correctly, John and I met up with our good friends, Kennon and Travis (one of the groom's men) and the new couple after dinner for some drinks at Taphouse in Virginia Beach. It was like they had known each other forever. I remember saying that to them. "Seriously...you guys just met?" Jimmy was charming, funny and seemed relaxed but even though I had just met him, I could tell he was soooooo into Lara and was a bit nervous but no one could tell...he was too cool for nerves. Lara was super sweet, kind, beautiful and just as witty and sometimes more than Jimmy. All evening they bounced jokes off each other and finished each others sentences like they had been together forever.
So I have decided to take my newborn sessions in new direction. Over the last three years I’ve taken many wonderful newborn workshops, had multiple NB sessions and enjoyed learning everything I could. Still do! However, I've been struggling to find my unique style. I’ve been torn between a couple of different ways of telling these little and amazing new life stories. I love the props, the bean bags and the little poses but I really had to be HONEST with myself and with the help of my wonderful friends the Warford’s and Wood Photography...
I practiced what was really in my HEART and captured the Warford's real. family. love story!
Going back to my little tagline. It’s what I love and I think it’s what you love!
So here is me saying out loud!! I love this story and I can’t imagine not tell it exactly as you see here!
