OMG! I'm so excited and proud to have been a part of this wonderful company, Pretty Pear Bride. If you have not heard of them, you have now. Check them out!
I feel so passionate about what Pretty Pear Bride stands for: "So Pretty Pear Bride was started as a site where plus size brides can find bridal inspiration that they long for. Everyone wants to see people that look like them, doing what they are trying to do because it allows them to envision that they can be just as glamorous and gorgeous as they imagined. So my mission was clear: merge my love for blogging and wedding planning with creating a place for plus size brides to see themselves in wedding inspiration." –Shafonne Myers (http://prettypearbride.com/about/the-owner/) Being a plus size woman...NO...let me say this...being a woman "period" and yes with curves; I had a hard time finding a bridal gown that looked great on me, photography poses that accentuated my curves, and hair styles that fit my face. Sadly back in 2007, I did not have a resource guide to help me in my bridal journey. But TODAY, there is somewhere for curvy and beautiful women to go, Pretty Pear Bride. A place you can feel like you are at home! They know what you are going through and they are there to help you be the best bride ever! This March, I was honored to be chosen to photograph the cover of Pretty Pear Bride Magazine! This was a great team effort. Please let me introduce the team. Shafonne Myers: Owner and Editor of Pretty Pear Bride, as well as model. Click here to learn more about her and Pretty Pear Bride Millicent Smith is a Richmond, Virginia based freelance makeup artist.
