Professional Prints - Why get them?

I have spent many, many hours researching the best photography sharing tool, with the client in the forefront of my mind. I decided to purchase SmugMug. SmugMug is a paid digital photo sharing website. SmugMug has many incredible features. To learn more click here: smugmug.com. BUT the #1 MUST HAVE was a great (one of the best) print labs…which they have hands down.

Walgreens, Wal-mart, target and places like that (in my opinion) do not know how to process professional photos. Thanks to Paint the Moon we have this amazing comparison blog. They turn out too yellow or blue and the contrast is overly saturated. Unfortunately, when investing in high quality photography…you need invest in high quality prints. :( If you get the same disappointment out of my lab…then we definitely need to sit down and fix them for you. I spend a lot of time color correcting my images and retouching them. I certainly do not want you to be disappointed with them.

Here are some examples of what a good print lab can do. I use Bay Photo. My prices are very reasonable in comparison to the quality you will be receiving. You would order these al la carte after the gallery is posted.

We highly recommend getting your prints through your SmugMug gallery. Your Print Release restricts you from receiving prints of your session through any food, drug and retail stores.
